The Wordle game was created by engineer Josh Wardle as a gift for his partner, and it quickly became popular internationally, with millions of players worldwide playing it daily. This made it difficult for Josh Wardle to manage, and in 2022, he sold it to The New York Times. Several other games similar to Wordle exist, such as Dordle, Hurdle, Dutrigordle, and Waffle, and some variations even allow players to guess multiple words at once, like Dordle and Octordle. The popularity of Wordle today can be gauged by the fact that over 90 million people play it daily.
Best Starting word For Wordle?
In Wordle, the best starting word is one that helps you figure out which letters are in the hidden word. Your goal is to identify the letters involved so you can make an accurate guess. If you don’t know the letters, every guess and move will be wasted. So you need to play strategically. You should try words that have at least two different vowels and also some consonants. For example, my favorite and most successful word is “Crane,” and the second one I use most often is “AUDIO.” This helps me figure out how many vowels and consonants are in today’s answer within the first two guesses, and my guess usually turns out to be correct.
How to Access Wordle Archive?
The Wordle archive was initially free for everyone when the game was created, but after the New York Times acquired the game, they removed the free access. Now, only their subscribers can access the Wordle archive. You can also subscribe to their plan to access the Wordle archive and play old Wordle games.
